Scholarships for phD in Construction Management

Scholarships for phD in Construction Management?
I did 5 years BSc course in Building & Architectural Engineering (blend of civil engineering & architecture and includes all electrical, mechanical and plumbing works as far as buildings are concerned). Currently, im doing Msc in Building Engineering from the same university, i.e. University of Engineering & Technolgy, Lahore, Pakistan. im working on MSc thesis these days and that will be completed within 4 months. I am interested to take admission in phD in Construction Management (preferably) on scholarship basis. which other options for phD fields are available for me in canada, usa or australia? i got 77.6% in BSc but my Msc result is not declared yet. i would be extremely grateful to you if you guide me in this respect.

You are severely mistaken if you think you will get a scholarship for PhD studies in Construction Management in any of these countries. Construction Mangement is considered a "practitioner" degree rather than a research degree. The few "research" seats available in the few reseach univerities with Construction Management-related degrees are preferentially distributed to citizens and permanent residents who were outstanding students in earlier degree studies. (The situation for Civil Engineering is different, but that's not what you asked). There are several "rupee whore" schools in the USA which will take almost any Indian/Pakistani student able to pay full tuition.

Hi, I am a PHD student myself . I only can speak for US. Most PHD programs are free. The website lists them for example 90k tuition etc, but you will get a Fellowship with your acceptance letter. Everyone who gets accepted in the PHD program is guanranteed a fellowship, which covers all tuition, books etc. No need to appy for that fellowship. It will be automatically generated from the university. You will have to teach some classes as a Teacher Assistant in small groups. Living expenses are generally covered, however you could do research or work on campus. MD programs are not free , only PHDs are technically free.
