To get the best indian PhD in management, you need to take CAT and appear for fellowship program (equivalent to PhD) at any of IIM. You get fellowship during this course and in addition to a valid CAT score you need to go through an interview, where your research interest are valued.

What are my options for getting into PHD for the programs in hospitality/tourism management
What are my options for getting into PHD for the programs in hospitality/tourism management?
I finished my MBA online with a 3.50 GPA. I have 14 years of industry experience, I would be able to strong letters of recommendations. I don't have any college teaching experience though, and I don't do well on the GRE or GMAT exams. What should I do? I really want to teach this industry to college students.

Degrees RPTS offers five graduate degrees. Two of these are research degrees and three are professional degrees. Professional degrees are recommended for master’s students who do not plan to pursue the doctor of philosophy degree. Research Degrees * Doctor of Philosophy in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences Research Degrees Doctor of Philosophy Degree The Ph.D. degree prepares students for a career as a university faculty member or research scientist in a government agency or the private sector. It requires 70 semester hours of graduate study beyond the master’s degree, including 24 hours devoted to an original dissertation research. A final examination on the dissertation is conducted by the student’s advisory committee. The Ph.D. degree normally takes three to four years to complete, depending on individual circumstances.
